You are young, fun, and have a vibrant and great social life. You’re extremely busy during the week with studies or work but don’t want to feel trapped in the rat race of life. So, what do you do?
You live in Amsterdam or any other city in this rainy but beautiful country, and you’d love to meet other like-minded, intelligent, sociable young Jews. Not necessarily to discuss politics, but certainly to have fun and enjoy meaningful conversations—where do you go?
The answer is simple: Shabbat with Chabad on Campus in Amsterdam.
Whether you study or live in Amsterdam, or in cities like Groningen, Delft, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, or Leiden, each week dozens of students and young professionals from across the country join Chabad on Campus in Amsterdam for a beautiful Shabbat experience. It’s not just a Shabbat dinner, not just a place to connect with your identity, and not just an opportunity to expand your professional network. It’s also the place where you make friends for life!.
Your Hosts:
The hosts of the weekly Shabbat dinners are Esty and Yanki Jacobs and their beautiful family. Rabbi Yanki serves as the national student chaplain/rabbi and may have bumped into him at your university, or seen or heard him on Dutch radio or TV. Esty, the rebbetzin, runs a huge amount o educational programs for students, children, and ‘regular’ community members. They’re here for you!S o if you face some kind of issue you might need help with, whether personal or professional, never hesitate to reach out!

Costs
For local students and Young professionals, attendance of the Shabbat dinner with Chabad on Campus is free of charge. If you wish to contribute to Chabad on Campus or sponsor this event, you can do so through the following link: https://chabadoncampus.nl/en/donate.
