The evening featured speeches, music, a lively Hanukkah market, and the moving lighting of the menorah by Mayor Femke Halsema alongside four generations of one family. Despite the cold and heightened security, the atmosphere was warm and united, underscoring the strength and continuity of the Jewish community.
