I think that the Netherlands is relatively a safe country. I’m thankful to live here and not in an African or Asian country for example where a democracy is lacking and human rights are less respected than here. However in Jewish places (synagoges etc) I don’t always feel safe. I guess there’s a reason for the police at the door.
